Just did this last week. LO is 15 mo. Supply is still fine for nursing in the am and pm. Since I also don't want to pump mid-day on weekends, I stopped nursing then, too. Working for us, and he seems happy with whole milk or thawed BM from stash during the day.

I gradually dropped pumping sessions at work starting at around 8 months, and continued nursing morning and night during the week, and on demand on the weekends (I still gave LO a bottle here and there on the weekends). Now, at 12 months, I still nurse morning and night but I am really ready to wean. LO is not . . . at least not for the morning session, and she will comfort nurse for weekend naps.

Yep. Stopped pumping somewhere around 11 months and she kept nursing 4-5x/day. We're down to 3x/day now at 15 months.

I also want to do this (except not drop pumping sessions, just drop daytime nursing sessions).

I only work two days a week but I do pump twice each day on those days. When I'm home, I try to only nurse AM/PM and give LO milk or water in between (he is 13 mos). So far, I think this is going well but I have definitely noticed my supply has dropped on the days that I pump so I don't know how much longer this will be sustainable. I also just got a BFP so I don't know if that will affect things either.

Totally! I stopped pumping at work when LO was 13 months. I still BF in the mornings, evenings and during the weekend. I didn't do anything particular...I just sort of blindly plunged ahead figuring my boobs would figure it all out.
The first few weeks I was sort of engorged at the end of the workday on Monday and Tuesday (I attributed it to BF-ing all day on the weekends), but nothing too terrible.
It was a delight to ditch the pump! Trust your boobs, they will adjust to your new BF-ing schedule.
