How old was your LO when you introduced olives and what kind of olive did you start out with?I like fresh olives but those usually arent pitted.

My LO loves olives....they are her favorite food! We give her black ones. She had her first one probably....at 9 months?
She is 11 months now.When we have tacos she will pick out all the olives and eat them first before she eats anything else. Its so funny!

I've tried black olives with C and she is not a fan.

I haven't yet (LO is 10.5) months, but no particular reason why. We just don't eat them that frequently.

So funny you posted this! LO had olives for the first time on Easter at 23 month, although olive oil has been a huge part if his diet for some time now. He loved them and tried green, black and kalamata. He prefers the black ones...ate at least half a jar! I was so shocked he ate them because he normally refuses a new foods for weeks before actually trying. I love fresh olives too!

She had kalamata olives (cut up of course) as part of some Mediterranean steak meal I made when she was about seven months. Maybe even six months. It's been a while. We went a little easy on them because they are brined, but she loved them! Now she has had many different kinds and really enjoys most of them, though the green ones are her least favorite.

We just get jars of regular black olives- LO doesn't seem to like green or kalamata, but he'll eat black olives like it is going out of style. He's been eating them since maybe 8 months?

Just a bit over age 1. It was one of those things where he was begging to eat what we were eating and we thought no way would he like them. SURPRISE, he loves them. The green kind with anchovies stuffed inside.
