One of my good friends just went through her first round of IVF and found out today it failed. She seems to be pretty upset by it and I want to do something nice for her, but I'm at a loss. What could I do to help her feel a little better or know that I care?

One of my friends recently went through something similar. This was her 2nd round and she was really upset about it. I just let her know that I'm thinking about her and to let me know if she wants to talk (or not talk) about it. I'm sure your kind thoughts will be comforting for her.

When my IVF cycle failed my friends all expressed their sympathy and offered to go out for coffee and talk if I wanted. I thought it was very nice and I loved having all their support.

Be there for her. Tell her you're there if she needs anything.
