I know "technically" what the differences are. But what does YOUR nanny do that makes them different from a full time, in home baby sitter?

from what I read nannys do some light cleaning and cooking. Ours is a babysitter she just watches LO. she takes her to the park and library but thats to tire her out and have her sleep longer

I didn't realize there was a difference.
ETA: My nanny is different only because we have a nanny share. So, she's not in our home full-time and has actually never watched LO at our apartment. She watches our LO at the other family's home because they have a house and more space.

Our nanny loved Charlie. Not sure if that counts, but it made her part of the family in my book.

Our nanny only came part-time, but she adored L. Just like Mr Bee said, that makes her part of our family!
Additionally, she helped clean L's toys, folded L's laundry from time to time and cooked for her - sometimes from her own fruits/veggies she brought for herself. The fact that she was willing to share, even though we always provided food and told her she was welcome to our fridge/pantry helped me see her as more nanny than babysitter.
