I think I read that 5 hours is considered sleeping through the night. However, my own personal view on that is about 8 hours. E slept a five hour stretch last night but I'm not going to count it as STTN just yet
What do you consider STTN?

Eight hours! But if LO sleeps more than 6 at a stretch, I'm thrilled.

I would say going without a MOTN feeding is STTN in my book so 8+ hours.

If I don't have to wakeup. So for me, between the hours of 10pm and 8am.

For us, if LO sleeps until 5am I consider it STTN which is about 10 hours. She typically wakes up between 5-6am for a feed and goes back to sleep, but I do consider that STTN.

I thought it was 6?
But for my purposes if I got at least 6 straight hours, lol!

I would love a 5-6 hour stretch! Which he did when he was about 2 months old...good old days!

If I get to sleep through the night, I'd count it as baby sleeping through. So a dream feed at say, 11 PM, still counts in my book.

No wakeups at all between the hours of 9 pm and 6 am.
For instance, my Lo has slept from 7 pmish to 1-2 am since she was 3 months old. It I for sure don't count that as STTN because I go to bed at 11, so I get very little sleep without interruptions.

I think the "official" thinking is 12 - 5. I suppose I would consider 6 -7 hours straight STTN.
