Every single night now that LO sleeps through the night I wake up with my breasts hard as a rock and in a pool of milk even if I put pads on. What do you do about it? Sometimes I pump at 11pm before bed to star storing for when I go back to work and even then I still leak from 11-6

Hmmm....I was going to suggest pumping but you already said you are pumping at night. I think at some point your body will regulate and realize you don't need the milk overnight anymore. How old is your lo? How long has he been STTN?

I hate wearing a bra at night so I would just change me shirt if I woke up wet/soaked; I would also sleep with a towel where my chest would be to help keep the bed from getting too wet. I think it took about two weeks for my body to adjust and me to stop leaking once DD started STTN. DS still gets up at least once a night so I'm not sure what my body will do this time around.

THis happened to me in the beginning but after a while my body regulated and now it doesnt happen as often

Your body will regulate itself in a few days to a week. It only makes as much as you need so soon enough it will stop making milk during that long stretch.

I woke up every night and pumped for months and built a great freezer stash. You make a lot of milk in the wee hours of the morning. Since I decided to stay home, I am not sure I would make that choice again or at least cut it out sooner.

He is 10 weeks today. He has been sleeping through the night for 2 weeks. Thanks ladies. I hope it regulates soon or maybe I will just pump to save.
