I usually freeze everything right away. I know fresh milk has more nutrients but I still nurse her a few times a day so I don't bother with mixing old and new milk.
I use my oldest frozen milk for daycare bottles.

He gets it the next day, unless its milk pumped on Thursday - I don't work again until Monday, so it goes in the freezer.

She gets it the next day (unless it's Friday then she gets that milk Monday). I have a huge freezer stash that I haven't had to dip into yet.

I EP so she gets it as I pump it. Once in a while I'll freeze a session to build a freezer stash

I sah so I just pump for the rare times when I will be away, and to keep her comfortable with a bottle. So most of the time I freeze it either right away or after a day or two, if I think she might need it right away but she doesn't. I need to work through the freezer stash.

It gets used up the next day. I used to use to freeze extra but I only get one bottle's worth now.

We supplement one bottle a day with formula, so everything I pump he gets the next work day.

I EP so most of what I pump goes in the fridge, enough to have a full day's worth for the next day. Anything extra gets frozen. It's little complicated because I also rotate my freezer stash and I defrost a bag a day so I freeze even more than I normally would if DD just drank it all instead.

I freeze about 3-6 ounces of it, thaw some of the oldest from the freezer, and send a mix of fresh plus frozen to daycare.
