I don't want this to be breast v. Bottle - but what do you love about feeding! (No matter how you do it)
We're breastfeeding (2weeks old) and I love that his spit up doesn't stink, when he balls up his little fists on either side of my boob like he's pounding on the dinner table, and that I don't have to worry about packing or washing anything while we move this weekend.

The milk drunk face he makes after he's done sometimes...and I love petting his head while he's eating. And that his poop (usually) smells sweet, not stinky.

I love nursing him to sleep at night. I nurse him lying on my side in our bed with him either fully on his side facing me or splayed out on his back with just his head facing me.
Anyway, I don't bring any electronics into the bed with us--I just take the time to unwind and relax and focus on just him. My favorite part is after he's asleep but has still been suckling...he pulls off and rests his head on my breast.

@scg00387: It's my favorite way to nurse him...I find it very relaxing. Half the time I fall asleep too! (We co-sleep about half the night, so I'm fine with that.)

I loooove when she dead locks eyes with me after she latches on. I swear it's like she's trying to say "oh mommy, thank you so much for this boob!"

I adore nursing my toddler because she gets so excited about it. She cries BOOOOOOOO!!!!! like it's the greatest thing in her little world. And it's about the only snuggling I get from her.

We've had a few really great feeds where Elliot will pull off in the middle and just smile at me and it warms my heart!! I also love how his hand is always moving while he's latched on- petting my face, grabbing my hair, pounding my boob... It's just so cute!

So much I love about it! I love when he pops off and uses my breast as a pillow, the way he grips the strap of my nursing tank, the way we can both doze off for an hour or more when I nurse him in the side lying position. I love stroking the back of his head. I love when he is upset and the way he calms as soon as I put him to the breast.

I love how, when my husband feeds her from a bottle, she stares into his eyes the whole time she's eating. It warms my heart.

@mediagirl: LO does this with my hubs too! It really soothes her. The other night she was really fussy and the only way she would stop crying was when hubs held her and stared right in her eyes. So sweet.

I love that after eight long weeks we're finally now feeding pain free!
Apart from that I love the overwhelming feeling of love and emotion I get when I'm feeding LO in the middle of the night, it's such a cliche but it almost makes me want to burst

when he holds my finger & calms right down when he's upset...& while we're side-nursing, when he finishes he uses my breast as a pillow & we both can doze off.
@scg00387: seriously, try it! its pretty great....some days i think it totally saved my relationship with breastfeeding (and my back!)

I love when, during the day, LO pops off and gives me a huge milky drunk smile with some drops still running down his face. I love how he's started to explore my face with his hand while he nurses. I love when he grabs onto my finger or hand or shirt and grips it so tightly while he nurses. And, my favorite, I love nursing him to sleep - when he cuddles up to me so closely and, once he finally falls asleep, pops off and rests his head against me as he sleeps.

I love the game we play, she reaches for my mouth and I nibble her fingers, then she fiddles with my bottom teeth and lip. This is also how I know when it's time to trim her nails!

This thread has me tearing up! Guess there are still some postpartum hormones lurking around. Love all the things everyone has mentioned. One of my favorites is when he flings his head back and forth at lighting speed like a little blind bat trying to latch on.

I love everything about it. I do feel guilt about not giving DH bottles but maybe I'm too selfish to want to give up even one nursing session 
I love that time with her and know ill miss it when she weans
Re side-lying, I don't get how that works with burping. If I don't burp LO she squirms until she spits up!
