    We're both aid workers but we're currently furloughed, so right now he's a painter at a concrete plant and I'm a SAHM.

    We'll be back overseas doing aid work next year.

    @Mrs. Jump Rope: Ohhhh what exactly does your DH do? I'd never heard of biomedical engineering or met a biomedical engineer until DH told me he wanted to go into that field.

    @IRunForFun: my husband designs and tests wheelchairs. He makes them, breaks them, and makes them sturdier! A robotics team works alongside him, and they developed a robotic arm for the disabled. He also sits on ISO and RESNA, so travel is required.

    He also helps run the wheelchair games!

    Another school librarian here. I also teach super fun electives like "teaching tolerance through film" and "Davinci: the scientist, inventor, and artist". Woohoo.

    Dh makes stock trading applications for one of the financial firms. And project management stuff.

    DH is a political science professor specializing in US politics, political theory and race relations (in regard to politics in the US).

    I'm a legal advisor for a large insurance carrier, supporting underwriting and sales. I'm also a social media content creator and manager for a number of businesses ranging from restaurants to electronic cigarettes, construction lawyers, medical offices, municipalities and more. (I work a lot).

    I am a banking software engineer but I work more on the consulting side. Basically, I help the programmers design it and teach the clients how to use it because the programmers I work with prefer not to interact with the customer/ bankers. (However, I am taking a 1 year leave of absence to be a SAHM). My DH works in IT for one of the major cell phone carriers.

    Some really interesting professions here.

    DH is a high school teacher and started a small non-profit with some other teachers to run professional development courses for teachers (this new venture is unpaid at the moment).

    I recently left higher education marketing for non-profit fundraising, grant writing, and communications.

    I'm mostly a SAHM, but once in a while I fill in for reception at at missionary organization. I also get called to do odd jobs over there.

    DH makes custom labels for awards (badge reels, lapel pins, etc...things your work gives you for doing a good job. Or trade show items.)
