Besides sucking a pacifier, our almost 5 month old has started scratching the sheet with his fingernails. Open and closing hands while face down.
My friend's little girl hits her head on the crib! Yikes! What does yours do?

haha! my daughter scratched the sheets around that age, too. and she just started banging her head backwards against the crib when she's awake in there and bored. ugh.
she is a burrower. always in or under a blanket! I have a series of shots on IG, lol.

He tries to stroke his own cheek but he's only 9 weeks old so his reflexes are a little jerky... So he ends up poking himself in the eye and screaming lol. Gotta swaddle him up tight!

LO also used to do the opening and closing his hands on the sheet. He sometimes twirls/pulls his hair, but now he mainly snuggles with his lovey and pulls it over his face--SO CUTE.

@sorrycharlie: Oh funny! I guess it is a normal-ish thing then! Sometimes he hums too. It's pretty cute.
@grizz: Awwww....

She just stuffs her hands in her mouth. Like both at the same time.

she very loudly whines/hums (it cracks up everyone who hears her do it) when she has the paci in her mouth and when she drinks her milk she pulls her hair. I can hear her ripping her hair and it upsets me when she does that.

M pulls at her belly. She also bangs her legs on the crib.

LMW scratches her back, scratches her head, pulls her hair, bangs her legs on the crib mattress and rails, but mostly she cuddles with and sucks on her lovey. I just upped our lovey supply to 6 because we now have to replace them every day... they STINK. omg.

@mrs. wagon: OW! Why do they abuse themselves to fall asleep?! How is that soothing?! Crazy babies!

She does this squirmy/swimmy move while on her tummy. Kind of snuggling down into the mattress/blankets/lovies she has gathered around her. It is too cute, and I know she is close to sleeping when I see her 'swimming' on the monitor.

@travellingbee: I know... it was so sad, she used to scratch her ears til they bled then she finally took to her lovey and I was so thankful!!! At least now she's not bleeding...

DS2 (18 months) rubs his hair if he can't get to mine. Lol. And if he wakes up from his nap but he's not ready to get up yet he'll bounce himself back to sleep by kicking the mattress over and over so it bounces his whole body. It's so cute!
