I have the Stokke Tripp Trapp and I use it once in a while. I'd highly recommend the Ikea Antilop though. I LOVE it and use it way more than the Stokke. And it's soooo inexpensive too (around $25?) . I would easily pay more for it though. All of my friends have the same one and all rave about it. It's seriously SUPER easy to clean and it looks clean/modern. There aren't any nooks & crannies for food to get lodged in. And you can pop off the legs and transport it easily too. Highly recommend it.

I have the fisher price space saver and I don't really like it. DS hates being strapped into things and he's already really big for it at 9 months. It's nice to use with a real chair, but I wish I went for the healthy care deluxe booster since it is easier to travel with when we go to my parents house. The space saver does not travel well. Plus I dislike the fabric cover. The recline is nice, but with the current APA recommendations to wait to 6 months to start solids, its not really useful.

We haven't used ours yet, but another mom's tip to me was just make sure it's easy to clean.

@banana: doesn't look like the antilop could hold a heavy baby - what's the max weight? doesn't say on website.
we have the tripp trapp on our registry. my brother uses it and he likes it a lot. told me to get it.

We have the OXO Sprout. It was a splurge, but Baby Y is quite happy in it, even when he isn't eating, and it's pretty solid and will convert as he grows. Also, it isn't obnoxious looking, which is nice!

We have the Graco Mealtime high chair. So far LO and I both love it...Easy to clean, easy to assemble, easy to use.

We have a Chicco Polly. I love it. Most moms get a Tripp Trapp, which is kind of a pain to use, I have a hard time getting DS in and out of it with the attached baby seat thing, I can't imagine I could get him out fast enough if he were choking on something. it's also expensive when you start adding all the add ons, and it doesn't have a tray or wheels.

We love it because it's comfy for our LO, easy to use, easy to clean, and we love how it will grow with him. Shoot, we can even have him in the booster that comes with it while any future kids sit in the high chair, so it's great how we can get use out of it for two kids at once.

@Boogs: we have the same one, love it. so nice that we'll be able to use it for a while, and LO loves to hang out in it ( think it's because it gives her a good view of the kitchen).

@tequiero21: I actually don't know what the weight limit is for the Ikea Antilop. But my LO is 30 lbs and it more than easily holds his weight. Once he starts feeding himself more consistently, we'll be using the Stokke so that he can join us at the family table. I also plan on buying a booster that we can just leave in the car for eating out.

@Boogs: yeah, i'm considering that highly now. it's a fraction of the cost of the tripp trapp and it looks nice. and it serves as a booster too so i like that. (because i put boosters on my registry - although it's only like 20-30 bux)...

@looch - just looked it up and it's got a lot more negative responses than positive. one of the complaints is that food gets "everywhere".... do you find that to be factual? and what about the pads - washable?
@boogs - you say it's easy to clean - can you throw it in the washer?
