We both WOH FT so 5 days is really our only option. And it works, and I think the consistency works. I've never had the ability to consider less days per week. I think it's great routine to establish even at 4. C turned 4 in August and started her FT Pre-K a week later.

My son is almost 5, but he goes to daycare 5 days a week from 8:30ish to 4. There is no preschool here, but daycare has a preschool aspect. He will start the equivalent of kindergarten in the fall. We both work, but I WAH.

She will either be in Daycare (pre-school) still (7am-5pm) or we may switch her to the city pre-school which would be 9-3pm, with a sitter from 3pm-5/6pm.

Is kindergarten full- or half-day in ME? I'm dealing with the same issue/question for K, but kindergarten is full day (830-330ish) here. So I'm leaning towards 5 half days a week, as sort of a build up. Or I might do 4 half days and say it's my last chance! Either way, I'll probably have her do a couple more "extended" days (they can stay from 1-3 as desired) next year, especially towards the end.

Anytime between 6:30 and 6. But it will be 8-5:30.

I will likely just send her 3 days. Half days.

My son was on a half day program, 2 hours 45 minutes, 5 days a week.

DS will be just 4 and will be going 3 days from 8:30-1 (possibly 2). The cutoff is 8/31 here and because he has an August birthday we will likely hold him back from going to K until he turns 6. I figure he will go 4-5 days from 8:30-2pm for his last year of preschool.

I think she will do 2 half days in Jan. 8-12! I will prob put her in full days when she turns 5. Her bday is after the public school cutoff.

My 3.5 year old goes 5 days a week, for 2.5 hours each day. She'll do a similar schedule next year, I think it might be a bit longer each day.
