Our LO takes it at room temp ! We never got him started on a super warm bottle so now we don't have to warm it. If it has just come out of the fridge, though, we will stick it in a bowl of warm water to take the chill out like @Weagle: suggested

@rahlyrah: I usually warm it for 45 seconds-1 minute. Enough for it to sting just a little when I stick my finger in it.

LO takes it cold or room temp. We've never given her a warm bottle!

we keep a big pyrex measuring cup in the bathroom right by the kitchen/bedroom and we stick the bottle in the cup and let hot tap water run over it for a while and then let it sit for a while until warmish. our tap water is really hot and the boiler is really close, so we don't waste too much water.

for LO#2 i want to get a hot water heater (the kind that keeps the water hot all day) so i can just dispense hot water into the pyrex straight up!

I do the exact same thing as @coacheswife123. I just warm it in a bowl of warm water. I store the milk in storage bags, so it warms really quickly. Once it's warm I transfer it into a bottle.

we used warm water from the faucet. then as the oz increased we heated water in a mug in the microwave. we had been given a bottle warmer and one day we were like why do we not use this. well we use it now and its the best. its the fastest and easiest.

when out and about we find a coffee place and ask for a thing of hot water. sometimes i warm the bottles [i have twins] at home then pack them and they're still ok when i give them to the girls.

We use this hot water dispenser and I love it! I use it for my hot tea too. It's awesome.

We have a hot water boiler and it heats the water up to 195F. We usually drop the bottle in a jar of hot water from the hot water boiler.

If the bottle is just cold, I put it in a mug of water that I've microwaved...

However, if I want to heat a frozen bottle, I use two mugs. I put the bottle in a mug of hot water for a min while I microwave the other mug. Then I switch. I do this because I found that the frozen bottle cools the hot water pretty quickly and it doesn't defrost quickly enough. If I use two mugs, it only takes 4-5 min to warm up a frozen bottle.

I do the same as @Smurfette ...I like the water really hot b/c it heats the bottle super fast.

Never use the microwave for either. All you need is to set the bottle in some warm water for a few minutes--even frozen breast milk defrosts quickly this way. Honestly, we didn't warm ours much, just enough to mix the cream of the breast milk into the rest of it, and baby was fine with it and never expected anything else, because we never got her used to only taking warm milk.
