When I really don't want to cook, I can feed my daughter some wheat bread, kidney beans, edamame, cut up fruit, and yogurt/milk and she is a pretty happy camper. It doesn't look pretty but it hits the food groups!

Hurmm.. When I need a fast meal I'll give her fruit and yogurt. She loves creamy pastas and meats.. so if I have boiled eggs I'll cut some up for her.

Yep- yogurt or cottage cheese, frozen veggies steamed in the microwave, wheat toast, cut up bits of extra firm tofu, bananas...

Whole wheat toaster muffins, topped with pizza/marinara sauce, part-skim shredded cheese, and veggie/protein toppings... I pop 'em in the toaster oven til cheese melts and bread is toasted. and fresh fruit on the side.

@Lozza: sounds similar to mine! @NYCaliMama: i thought that would be a great idea but the LO won't eat that for some reason. oh well!

Pb&j on toasted while wheat bread, cheese and a banana. Just stuff I know I can get him to eat.
