His clothes get destroyed!! But we have 2 weeks worth of hand me down clothes that he wears to daycare. Long sleeved tees and sweatpants right now. I see his friends come to daycare in nice jeans, sweaters, and even button down shirts and I'm like what!!

@autumnlove you read my mind!!! BUT the ladies in his room are so sweet-he has terrible eczema and any kind of perfume, lotion, etc will aggravate it. They noticed it and so try put a blanket between themselves and him whenever they hold him now!

@matador84: Ugh, LO is switching rooms next week..hopefully the teachers in the young toddler room are fragrance free!

They always change DD for even the tiniest little spit-up spill. She almost never comes home in the same cute clothes that I dropped her off in. Other than that, daycare is pretty great!

I can't get over the fact that these daycare employees are allowed to wear perfume while on the job.

@autumnlove: I worked in a daycare, and we knew better not to wear any fragrances due to sensitivities, I find it odd the teacher even wears anything at all.

The teachers fill out a sheet that says when and how much she ate, napped, and when she was changed. I thought we'd get more info on how her day was like what she did, her mood etc. I wish I got more info on how her day was

@mrbee no idea. I live in a very conservative place...people would think I'm insane if I brought up the idea of fragrance free...that I'm just being difficult! I know how you feel about shoes in homes/etc and I feel the same way. I brought up the fact I don't think shoes should be worn, at least not in the newborn room and they thought I was CRAZY!
But...I digress...they take excellent care of my baby boy so I guess I have to pick my battles.

DS is always sick. I think it just comes with the territory (dd was always sick as well and now at 4 yr she's great) but it still stinks.

@matador84: They let teachers/visitors wear shoes in the infant room? I thought that was against licensing rules! I've worked in several daycares & all of them had a shoes-off or disposable booties on policy. So does DS's daycare.
@autumnlove: I've noticed that when I take DS back from any family member/caregiver he always smells different, but no one actually wears perfume! I think maybe it's detergent?
DS is only 3 days in, but it bugs me that they won't re-offer breastmilk from a bottle he didn't finish.

Eww, I would be grossed out by any fragrance.
I also do not like how her clothes always get messed up!
