We have been dealing with a biter in LO's class at daycare. She is 11 months old but has moved up to the classroom with 12-18 month old kids. There are only 8 kids in the class and they keep a 1:4 ratio at minimum.

In the past 6 days she has had 7 bites. Apparently there is a problem child who is picking on my LO. For some reason he's going after her head (and one time her face).

I just don't know what else I can do. They are "shadowing" the child, meaning he always has to be within an arms reach of a teacher, but that's not always good enough because bites are still happening.

They cannot tell me the name of the child, but I asked if they could tell me if an incident was from the "problem" child or just a random incident from another kid.

Do you think there is anything else I can do? I really would like to keep her at this daycare (hours and location).
