4 yr old - With Spring around the corner they are doing a planting series right now - seeds, plants, trees, etc
Kindergartener is learning about the Human Body

She's not in school yet but we're going over lowercase letters right now.

My son just did a long unit on pets: how to care for them, what animals are pets and what animals are not, etc. The rest of the year it's a unit on "Me, Myself and I" about wellness, self-esteem and knowing oneself. They work a lot all the time on initial sounds and they can all write their names. (3-4 year old class).

Right now they have a spring theme. Last week they went on a field trip to find snowdrop flowers. This week they are going to the Easter market.

This week they're learning about Australia (this month is a travel/transportation theme), and I think they're on the letter T and the number 15.

She's 20 months and learning the alphabet now at home--she knows B,C,D,E,F,I,K,L,M,N,O, P, and R.
Randomly, she can never remember A for any length of time, or H or G....and we haven't gotten past R. Except for Y! She knows that one.
It's so cute--now when we go on walks, she notices all the letters and gets so excited and points them out. She started shouting E! E! yesterday and I finally figured out she was looking at the exit sign in our building.

E's unit this month is "Signs of Spring" and A's class is learning about Zoo animals.

My LO is only 17 months but she has started to identify colors, which they are teaching her at part-time daycare! Okay, really just A color, green, haha! But it's a start.
