    @anonysquire: we probably do live near your in-laws....assuming they're from OC. i think i saw in another post that you were born in Newport Beach...that's where my DS was born.

    No one knows our city by name, but they've all heard/seen a movie with a scene from a hotel/restaurant in town. Another tidbit no one knows is the scene represented in miniature of Sweden in Legoland is our town.

    Ummmm, our town is small (<200 people) but a neighboring city is "famous" for skiing and the nation's 3rd longest river (or something like that).

    Cactus League Spring Training in March, one of my favorite things on earth!

    The actual smaller town we live in is known for being founded by a veterinarian who raised ostriches. Hence this week is our annual ostrich festival. Strange birds.
