We currently have the gigantic bag of Mickey nuggets from Costco. I think they taste gross (I prefer the dinosaurs) but my kids love them!

Ha. We have those, too. They do taste gross!!!
I really like these from Purdue. They taste really good!

I don't eat them but my DD will only eat Tysons - she doesn't like the purdue ones
@blackbird: oh I am gonna try those!

We usually get these, the Kidfresh brand: https://www.freshdirect.com/pdp.jsp?productId=fro_pid_3502226&catId=fro_meat_nugg

@Mamaof2: They're our favorite so far! I'll even eat them,...they don't have weird chunks or dark pieces in them. I bought another kind once, and DH said they were gross. *shrug*

My DS really likes the Applegate ones. But he really is not picky about nuggets.

@autumnlove: LO loves those damn Mickey nuggets. Every night she asks for them for dinner. Sorry kid, nope! I don't eat them so I don't mind getting them for her since she loves them.

Haha, those Mickey nuggets are a favorite here too. The dino ones are also okay in a pinch, but my son is not flexible, really.

We usually get the Hannaford brand, haha. They taste good to me. We also like Tyson's.

Not sure the brand, but it's blue and I get it at whole foods they're baked and super soft. Kid loves them.

I like the Applegate ones the best, and then being organic makes me feel better about how often she has chicken nuggets. I tried making the skinny taste ones for her and she was not fooled.
She tried the Costco Mickey ones once and wasn't really a fan, but that was before she really liked nuggets in general.
True story- I finally got her to try fish by calling fish sticks "special chicken nuggets".

@autumnlove: @Smurfette: @looch: We shall pretend Mickey nuggets don't exist over here, LOL. Although if i make Mickey pancakes, she seems hesitant to eat Mickey....
@Foodnerd81: i made breaded fish the other night, and OF COURSE, E wouldn't eat any of her chicken (or breaded chicken earlier that week) but insisted on pounding our mahi mahi. Which, of course, I only made 2 filets of

@Foodnerd81: we call fish stick chicken nuggets too. We give her a little ketchup and she will gobble them up.

@Foodnerd81: hahaha! Dh told me I was so mean the other day for giving S fish nuggets and saying "...and these are your nuggets" as I put her plate down without clarifying they were not her usual chicken ones. I told her after she had happily eaten a few though!

@blackbird: My kids barely eat any meat, but Blake is crazy about fish. We have to make two filets for them now. Two bites for Alice and Blake eats the rest. What a weirdo!
I've never tried giving them chicken nuggets, but maybe I'll pick some up. I regularly run out of ideas for a new meat to try with them, which is why they have fish a few times a week!

@illumina: I never mentioned it. Eventually I started saying "special nuggets" but I don't bother explaining they aren't chicken.
@Smurfette: my kid has literally dipped broccoli in ketchup. She loves it. At least I get the kind without high fructose corn syrup, right?
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
@twodoghouse: maybe because it's so mild?? Who cares, fish is great for them! I'm constantly perplexed by toddler eating. It has no rhyme or reason
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
@Foodnerd81: we tried that with broccoli and she still won't eat it.
wonderful cherry / 21504 posts
@Smurfette: have you tried cheesy broccoli, like the frozen stuff coated in preservative laden velveeta type cheese sauce? C LOVES that and it was like her gateway to broccoli. Now she will eat it just steamed but we had to wean her off the velveeta.
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
@Foodnerd81: I haven't tried that cheese. I have tried just regular shredded sprinkled on top. But I will pick some and try it! We just got her to eat peas. But usually I have to spoon feed her to actually eat them. But she is eating them at least.

@looch: the Dino nuggets taste really good! Haha!

We also get either the Bell & Evans or Applegate. I think the Bell & Evans taste better but they take longer to cook (not precooked). So it depends how quick I need to get dinner on the table. My daughter isn't a huge nugget eater, but I think she seems to like the Applegate ones better.

Tyson's Chicken fries or Dino nuggets from Costco. I want to try the Tyson's panko breaded nuggets but need to finish what we have first.

@blackbird: Sounds like a winner, need to pick this up this week.

Applegate and Ian's. They're the only ones I've found that can accommodate their allergies.
