I was just curious to see what percentage of us are charting during TTC!

First active cycle, just started temping/charting using FF & a phone app. I'm trying to get in tune with my body more and reading TCOYF too.

I use FF too, online and on my iphone. I really love it - I'm noticing now as I get more info on there with each month it gets crazy accurate about my O date which is nice!

I do chart. I took a break from it this cycle though. It has been a nice break. I'll be back to charting actively next cycle if we haven't conceived.

I didn't start until I had been trying for about 6 months, but I love it. I would never have timed things right without it (even though it doesn't tell you until after).

I've been charting for the past three months. It's great to see the patterns emerge. DH is totally into it and asks to see the chart, and then asks me to explain it.

I didn't know what charting was before I joined hb!

It's been really great for me too - just the piece of mind for me is great. I was worried for some reason I wouldn't O before I came off the pill and it's nice to see that I am for sure. And when always helps too

I've stopped since I got my BFP a few weeks ago, but I was charting for the better part of a year.

Both times I ttc I charted and got pregnant right away. I'm a big fan of charting!

We started charting 4 days after we got married. We charted 18 months to avoid and got pregnant the first time we tried to conceive. We are currently in charting cycle 3 post miscarriage and desperately hoping to get our BFP.

I chart, but we took this month off because I think it stressed my husband out. As a result, this cycle of TTC felt more "normal" (versus forced) which I'm optimistic about.

I did when I first got off BC but my OB/GYN told me that looking for EWCM was fine. I haven't charted since. Also, it never worked for me since my sleep cycles are not consistent.

I just started charting -- but I'm not TTC yet (so I didn't vote). I love it. It's really empowering to know what's going on with my body. For instance, I just went off the pill and am on CD 25. I know I STILL haven't ovulated yet and so I have no reason to freak out in the next few weeks when I STILL haven't gotten my period.
Hope the body gets back to its old rhythms soon!

I am not currently charting...we are on cycle 3. If no BFP this cycle I am going to give it a try.

me! Started charting right away, pretty much...helps calm the obsessive compulsive part of me

Nope, not my thing. I know that it gives many women the feeling that they are in control but for me it would reinforce that I actually have minimal control over my fertility, all I can do is react to what my body does.

I didn't during my 13 months TTC, but I had ridiculous cycles (100-200 days) and I am a shift worker, so it was recommended that I didn't frustrate myself trying. I did conceive on my 1st normal cycle though (on Metformin).

Started actively TTC in April,, charting since July.
I have pretty regular cycles so now I only chart for the week before ovulation and weekdays during the TWW (too much charting makes me craaazy)

We started trying to August and I've been charting since October. I'm glad I decided to chart - otherwise I wouldn't have known that I haven't been ovulating. That's saved me a lot of dissapointments at the end of each month,.

I love charting! It makes me feel like I'm actively doing something to help my body along (though I'm not really, just recording what it's doing). It's also helped calm me down a little: I know that I AM ovulating, and that my cycles are normal, even though its taking longer than expected to conceive.

I'm pretty addicted to charting - and hubby finds it interesting as well. As PPs have said, it helps my nerves to know my body and cycles better.
There are months where it gets wonky though - like this month! I'm supposed to have ovulated by now, but I've had 3 low temps in a row (long implantation dip?)
Any ideas ladies?

I don't. It stressed me out too much so I follow my other natural bodily signs.

I didn't chart. We just BD'd every day for 9 days straight during my ovulation week. I figured I'd hit the mark one of those days.
What is charting for exactly? Is it so that you can avoid having to BD every day for 9 days like I did?
