If your child has moved out of the crib and into a bed, whether it be a toddler bed or something else, what are they sleeping on these days?

My big kids have doubles. But, that's because we bought a model home and all the furniture, and that was what was in all the bedrooms.

DD is in a single bed- is that a twin in the US?
DS is in a queen size bed -
Twin for my almost 3 year old.

She was in her converted crib (lowered all the way with the front taken off) until 3.5. Now she's in a twin. Any bigger wouldn't fit in our tiny rental!

Both of the kids have full sized beds.

he has a queen because we gave him our old mattress when we moved and upgraded to a king and he was ready to leave the crib.
In hindsight, i wish we got him a double because the extra cost of the queen comforter and sheets and the space the bed takes up in his room was not totally worth him using that mattress. For our next LO, who is not born yet, even though we have another spare queen, i think i will buy him a double when the time comes. i don't like anything smaller though because when i put DS to bed, i lie in his bed with him.

Queen because it's what we had in the guest room and he took over the guest room.

Toddler bed, but we're going to move her to a big girl bed for her 4th birthday. Not sure if we want to do the full that her crib converts to, or buy a new twin.
