My LO is 14 months and is sleeping in the crib. Sometimes he stands up in his crib in the middle of the night and then lies back down. Twice in the past week, he woke up in the middle night. Both times, I heard a loud "Bonk" and then he started crying but settled down after some patting. The next morning, I noticed injuries to his face. A cut at the corner of his eye that has formed a large scab, and this morning it is an inch long bruise and scrape. I have no idea what is happening, but I can only assume that he is hitting the railing while trying to lie back down.

Anyone have this happen with their LO? I am thinking he may need to move to a floor bed, but was really not wanting to do this for a while since I like him to be contained. Or, would you recommend some kind of padded railing cover? Thanks!
