My LO is 2.5 and I know she should be using a regular cup more often but she drinks most of her water while playing so I prefer a cup with lid. She uses a couple different types of straw cups but my favorite is her thermos insulated one because she can close it and it doesn't leak all over!

We have the thermos insulated stainless steel cup with a lid too. I love how they don't leak. But he usually drinks from an open cup, sometimes with a straw, at the table.

Open cups at meals and a camel bak for water
Sometimes I'll give her milk in a sippy of she asks for one.
