I have been reading about how certain types of lube are bad for TTC, so I am just curious about what types worked or didn't work for others.

@Adira: I've heard a lot of good things about pre-seed! Did you buy it online or is it available at certain stores?

@lawbee11: It probably is available somewhere, but I ordered mine off Amazon.

@lawbee11: I got mine off amazon too. Word of advice though, you don't need to use the full amount they suggest. We used maybe half and it was more then plenty.

Saliva and many lubes are known to "kill" sperm, but pre-seed is one that's safe. There was a thread previously that pre-seed was a huge help in getting the BFP. I just received mine so we'll see if it helps in getting a BFP!

Pre-Seed! I used it both times I got pregnant and both times it was the first try. I just bought mine at CVS. And ditto @Smurfette: you don't need nearly as much as the packaging says.

@blackbird: Olive oil?? Interesting!
@lawbee11: Thanks! It's been a few good cycles and one loss a couple months ago so I'm ready for my BFP! Good luck to you as well!

@blackbird: I would have never thought to use olive oil! It does sound messy, though.

It wasn't messy because you don't need more than a few drops. She said its the closest thing to your body's natural lubrication. I use olive oil on my skin and it's not greasy.
