We usually just make Kraft original over here, but they do like the shapes. Annie's white cheddar also goes over pretty well. I will sometimes have the individual frozen kind in the freezer when I need something quick, but not too often. I love homemade mac n cheese and they will typically eat that if I make it, as well. They really just love macaroni and cheese in general!

Ooh lately I have been loving the Kraft Creamy style. Its thicker more homestyle noodles and better cheese.

This is actually funny... in our house DH prefers the Kraft original mac & cheese (with powdered cheese) and I like the Deluxe (with the cheese packets).
When DS has both on his plate, he likes the Deluxe better. 
Win for mom.

DS so far likes the Kraft kind - I think its because the cheese flavor is so bland and because he can pick it up easily (I always make it the day before so that it sorta congeals and clumps up for easy picking). He doesn't like cheese in general except for the boxed mac n' cheese kind and cheese pizza with plain mozzarella so I suspect he wouldn't be crazy about real homemade mac n cheese. DH can't eat cheese so I don't know if he's taking after his father or not.

My kid loves Mac-n-Cheese. She likes the horizon brand Mac-N-Cheese and Kraft deluxe.

I usually give her Annie's because I got a huge thing at Costco. She seems to have a strong preference for the shells over the macaroni shape though.
She will eat home made if she has to but prefers Annie's.

She has only had two types, homemade casserole style (my mom's recipe, which actually has more eggs than cheese), and the mac & cheese at the Cheesecake Factory. She LOVES them both. I am scared to give her the boxed types because I like the fact that she loves our homemade one.

DH and I prefer Annie's White Cheddar Shells...because we eat wholesome, balanced meals like that.

She's only had homemade here but will eat it out at restaurants too so I'm sure if I gave her the boxed ones she wouldn't be at all picky.

I started by only making home made with protein noodles and now my 3 year old won't eat anything that has mushy noodles. So not anything that comes in a box or freezer. Oops. DS2 is less picky when it comes to food in general so he just at Mac and cheese at Red Lobster (it was Kraft) and didn't seem bothered.

They prefer homemade, but my homemade recipe is really fatty so I don't make it that often. They will also eat Annies white cheddar (which we can get at the commissary), but I find it quite salty.

She loves any kind of mac and cheese! But she likes the shells pasta because she can make finger hats with it, haha.

How do you get your kids to eat and love the Annie's white cheddar and shells? I bought the variety pack from Costco and getting him to be ok with shells was hard enough. Even suggesting that I make the white cheddar version is apparently offensive.
