Treats in our house are: animal crackers, popcorn, organic gummies, cheddar bunnies, pretzels.

Treats here are fruit, for the most part, although we give her that anyway. Some times, she'll try some cookie or ice cream when we're having it, but it's not really a treat, I guess.

an occasional cookie (her favorites are Nilla Wafers,) animal crackers, and popsicles. I just learned that she likes popcorn, but I dont give it to her much.

A cookie made from quinoa, banana and oil...DS loves them but I'm not sure they are much of a treat lol.

We don't really do much for treats either. Sometimes I give her prunes and she goes bananas for them.
I guess when we make homemade pizza that is a treat too since we're mostly gluten free.

@prettylizy: Sure! Really simple!
1 mashed banana
2/3 cup quinoa flour (you can use flakes but I prefer the flour for this. You can make flour from whole quinoa seeds in a spice grinder or vitamix)
1 TBS oil (we use olive/canola blend because that's what LO can handle. You can also get away with none, but my LO needs the fats)
1-2 TBS water until you get a consistency you like
Optional: dash of vanilla and enjoy life chocolate chips or blueberries etcMix together and bake at 350 for about 15 min. I spoon them on on parchment using a mini cookie scoop. They don't spread or flatten and take a longer to bake so keep checking, but ~15 min I would say is average.

I make something similar but with oats, banana, vanilla, 1/3c of a veggie pouch and a bit of maple syrup (sometimes).

@Sammyfab: yay! That sounds good too! My LO can't do oats or maple syrup (and most of the pouches so we never struts others). We gotta get creative lol
