I'm so incredibly over it. I cut down to two sessions this week, but now I'm stressing a little because DS isn't taking to his goats milk as well as he did originally. Maybe I should try WCM? What was your plan for stopping? WHEN CAN I BE DONE?!

My situation was different because E took to WCM like a duck to water, so I wasn't worried about having BM around. I reduced my pumping times pretty drastically right away, I only pumped enough to make myself comfortable throughout the day and my body adjusted really quickly. It maybe took only a week or two. We continued to nurse in the morning/evening for a few more months afterwards.

I went from 3 sessions (my norm) to 2 for a week. My plan was to drop to 1 the next week and then zero... But I was getting *nothing* from that 1 pump so I just stopped. I stopped nursing during the day on weekends at the same time - I didn't want DD or my body to get confused. From then on, we nursed at wake up and bedtime only. Beware - even though my supply was pretty much gone, I still had MAJOR nausea and headaches for about 2 weeks when I stopped pumping. Totally thought I was KU, but apparently that is pretty common.

Right on cue with this question for our June 1 LOs. I was just wondering this today. I am just pumping once at work and was hoping to be done after Friday, but I think I might be pretty uncomfortable, so I may shorten the time I pump over the course of next week, even though I REALLY want to be done.
In terms of LO, she's not totally crazy about WCM, but I think that may be because I'm still leaving her 8 oz or so of BM, using some freezer stash. I figure she'll drink the WCM if it's all we're offering. Also, our pedi said that if she is still nursing 3x a day, which I expect her to, that we don't really need to worry about how much WCM she drinks.
Can't believe we're going to have one year olds!

I cut a pumping session each week until I was done.
Xander doesn't drink his hemp milk as well as he did BM, but I think that has more to do with the fact it's in a sippy and not a bottle. I try to compensate by giving him lots of almond yogurt throughout the day.

I started weaning at 6 months, but I cut a pumping/nursing session (Daytime) one a week. So three weeks later I was nursing AM and PM only. Then I cut those.

I SAH until 12 months, so I only ever pumped 2x/day, but I dropped one pumping session/week, and then one nursing session/week until I was down to zero pumping sessions and just two nursing sessions. And I think we may have dropped the second nursing session last night....we'll see if she asks for it again.
I really wanted K to drink goat's milk but she did NOT like it. So then I tried homemade almond milk, which she also didn't like So now she's on organic, non-homogenized WCM. It took several weeks for her to have any interest in it at all, but now she does drink a moderate amount of it (~10 oz/day) and still nurses. Our doctor and my LC were not at ALL concerned about her milk intake because she still nurses and is such a good eater. They both said that she knows what she needs and to trust her

We started mixing bm with wcm for bottles around 11.5 months because my stash was running out and so was my supply. I cut down to one session around 11 months because I wasn't producing much anymore. It took her a little bit to get used to the milk but she did eventually.

@grizz: Mixed feelings I guess. I'm a little nostalgic for the early days (!) and can't believe I have a one year old, but this age is so fun that I'm mostly ok with it.
I'm almost like afraid to stop pumping though, even though I've been waiting for this day to arrive! So weird. We have our well visit on Monday so if I get any other interesting tidbits about the transition I'll post again.
