We've just confirmed no O and I am on CD26. She wants me to start Provera 2x a day for 5 days because there is no use in waiting to see how long my natural cycle will be if I have not ovulated by now and haven't O'd since before April (the month I had my MC).
Just wanted your experience with it. How long were your cycles and how long did it take to take a period once stopping Provera. What was your dosing like?

it took 14 days after stopping for AF to start when i've taken it. it also makes me a psycho b!tch, sleepy, nasty headaches, and my skin horrendous. my dr's limit is 14 days after stopping for AF to start or she wants you back in. some people don't react to it as strongly & i was on a high dose (i'd have to double check what it was). good luck!

I just took it to end my 90+ day cycle. I took 1 pill a day for 10 days, and then 3 days later my period started. I guess I really didn't notice any mood swings or any other side effects. Maybe I was lucky!

Oh but......literally 2 weeks after that Provera induced period stopped, I got another period right after it. I was literally on CD14 after my "Provera period" and I started my next "period"

I took 1 pill for 10 days and 14 days after starting, AF showed up. I did this 3 or 4 times, always with the same results. Oh and no side effects.

I'm taking 2 (100mg) pills right now for 10 days. I'm not much moodier, but it slows my digestion some. The last time I took it I got my period 8 days later. My first time taking it my cycle was over 90 days. This time, it was CD 23 after my loss, so we weren't even sure I was going to O. These last two cycles have been 50+ days.

@Mrs. Polish: it doesn't take me being pumped with hormones to fight over tortilla chips...so, I welcome this week from hell by going out and stocking the pantry.

I took it for 10 days one pill a day. My period showed up a week after I took the last pill. I didn't have any side effects, which was nice. My period wasn't any worse than usual either.

I took 1 pill for 10 days and my period usually started a few days after the last one. I don't think I remember any crazy side effects. Well, after the first round anyway, once my body had time to adjust. The first round was so bad, DH sent me flowers for no reason at work. I firmly believe it was to calm the beast before she came home.

Day 2 and nothing bad yet. I do have headaches though

I took one pill a day for 10 days as I was on CD61. Around the 5th day of the pills, I began feeling achy & moody. A few days after finishing the pills, I began having breast tenderness. I finally had AF 9 days after finishing the last pill. Good luck!

HI guys, for anyone reading this, just wanted to add my updated experience. My period started at 4PM the day after mt last pill. I took the pills 2x a day, 8am & 8pm for 5 days.
