N is generally a very good eater in the terms of a toddler. Not tonight. I made spaghetti (his favorite by the way) and he pushed it away crying. I asked him what he wanted for dinner and he handed pickled beets and mandarin oranges.

She hasn't had it yet but I have a doctor's appointment and I left DH salmon, peas, and broccoli to feed her. It's all leftovers.

@MrsRcCar: I'm probably the meanest mom ever, because LO helped me make them (she practiced cracking an egg, and helped me use the mixer), but she's dairy free and can't eat them!
She's never had them before though, so she doesn't really know what she's missing or care.

@Anagram: we are gluten, dairy, and egg free. I make some pretty awesome brownies. 
I had cookies the other day and offered one to N, he got an apple out instead.

Meatloaf (I sneaked spinach in there!), peas, potato hasselback and rolls. With soy milk. We had sauté cabbage instead of peas. Baby had meatloaf and peas as well.
Dinner is at 6 and bedtime is at 9 so she'll probably have fruits later for a snack. Probably cherries because I just bought some today.

We had quesadillas for dinner but LO can't have dairy so she just had the fillings (black beans, yellow peppers, and roasted corn) + raspberries. She actually ate pretty well, which was awesome because she has barely eaten the last few days it feels like!

I'm in the process of making Skinnytaste turkey breast cutlets, stuffing, and broccoli. He just had a giant spoonful of Cookie Butter though, so that was likely his dinner.

@hellobeeboston: we are gluten, dairy , and egg free so it is hard to make things sometimes but we are figuring it out. The grocery store where we just moved has Daiya brand cheeses.

Grilled BBQ chicken breast and corn. Same as us. LO2, 5.5 months, had a jar of pears. Can't wait until he's sitting on his own and j CNN start giving him finger food - so much more fun, and easier for me to eat my dinner!

Last night DS had homemade baked beans, houmous and breadsticks, black olives and a fish finger - then grapes and blueberries. I was so excited that he ate the fish finger as he has never eaten fish before and usually refuses all protein.

Wow! Your toddlers eat so well! Olives? Hummus? Chilli?? Mine will only eat a handful of foods - most of which are fried or breaded.

@Cherrybee: Haha mine sounds good but in reality these are part of a list of only about 20 things he will eat - he just has weird taste for a toddler! I can safely say I never thought I would be so excited to see my kid chow down on Birds Eye freezer foods!

DS eats what we eat. Last night, I made simple sesame noodles with soy sauce chicken. For once, he loved the protein more than the carb. I was totally shocked.

Pizza. I tried to give L some of my plain cheese pizza because lately he's been ridiculous about not wanting to eat anything that I've added veggies or meat too (which has been super fun - most nights he barely eats) and he cried and insisted on eating the same pizza as DH. Which had a ton of toppings on it. Whatever, kid. LOL
