We'll have to do a picture thread of all the LOs in their costumes. These are too cute ideas. I can't wait to see them!!

These are the ones we have done so far. I still need to help my mom with the scarecrow and tin man hats.

@Anagram: I have never seen a good Rapunzel wig either.. except at Disney! But that would be so cute if you could find one.

@Anagram: @T-Mom: this one looks pretty easy to make (just braided yarn) but it's not a real wig.

@.twist.: thanks, my mom does most of the work. I just help with the craft side (like attaching a funnel to a hat for tin man)

C is going to be Anna (found the best site that sells princess dresses that AREN'T ITCHY! thank goodness) and H is going to be a chicken (costume we found at Costco).
If anyone wants the deluxe Anna costume from Costco size 4-6, let me know and I'll sell it to you instead of returning it.

@Mrs. Train: Ooh! I love that idea! That would be a good way to teach my DD how to braid too. Thanks!

I think LO is going to be little red riding hood and our dog will be her big bad wolf

@Mrs. Train: Still! The fact that you are organized enough to get it all done! I am such a scatterbrain!

She's going to be a 50s sockhop girl. I ordered her a poodle skirt and some cat eye glasses.

DD and our dog are both being dinosaurs! We have dressed our dog up every year and couldn't resist when we found them costumes that are very similar! Can't wait
PS - my dad thinks putting our 65 lb lab in a Halloween costume is animal cruelty. But she seems to like the attention!

DD is going to be a dragon! We got the costume from Carter's half-off at an outlet mall and it is SUPER CUTE. Can't wait!

The baby is going to be a chicken, and we're still undecided with our toddler. I think it would be hilarious for her to be an egg, but I want her to pick something if she wants to!

@Mrs. Train: I love your family we so family costumes also, but can't get our extended family to play along!

These are so cute!
LO is going to be R2D2. I might make DH a Luke Skywalker costume, but we'll see - not sure if I'm feeling that generous.

I'll have a 1 year old a newborn, so they're not old enough for trick or treating or to voice an opinion, but I might dress them up anyways. I'd love to have them coordinating! Last year L was Yoda at DH's request, so this year I get to pick. Definitely something Disney! L really loves Frozen , but I can't think of two boy costumes for it where one would be newborn appropriate.

DS will be a penguin. We had him choose between a puppy and a penguin costume since he knows both animals. I wanted him to be a cow since he can say "moo," but we couldn't find one at the store we were at.

@OldEnglandMama: I love Star Wars costumes. My daughter was r2d2 last year and she loved it. She has been wearing it all year!
@wonderstruck: maybe Kristoff and Olaf. I have seen people at disney land with Olaf knit hats (they look hand crocheted) that and white pajamas would be find for new born Olaf.

@beachbee: I was surprised everyone wanted to join in too. Apparently the Wizard of oz is a theme a lot of my family likes.

Curious George! I couldn't find a George costume that I liked, so we are using a cute monkey costume that we cut the tail off of and he will wear this shirt that I got from Etsy. It says curious and his name.

DS a fireman and dd a dalmation.
Or...DS is a milk carton and dd is a donut.
Can't decide!

@matador84: way cuter than milk and donuts. Although if you did a cop and donuts, that shit is funny

@blackbird: that would be freaking hilarious! I'm all about hilarious costumes.

DD is nuts about Abby Flying Fairy from Sesame Street and has been pretty consistent in saying she wants to be Abby. So that will be our costume!

@runnerd: the boys were sharks last year. It was so cute.
I have no idea for this year. I feel like I need to come up with something that goes together somehow.
