I've read up to 8 days but...I notice my breastmilk starts to look funny after 2 days! So if I know she won't be drinking it by the next day I just throw it up in the freezer.

I work one day a week- so if by Friday we haven't used the milk stored in the fridge I will freeze it. This way I know it will never be a week old in the fridge- keeping track of dates of each bottle of milk isn't my strength.

4 days is my max. My milk usually smells rancid after 5!

i try not to leave it longer than 2 days. but i've left it up to 4.
