Omg. I got sidetracked when I came home today and usually the first thing I do is put the milk in the fridge. I just was unpacking my bag and realized I didn't refrigerate it! The magnet I have from the hospital says it can be left at room temp for 4-10 hours...but still. I am thanking my lucky stars I found it!

I think recommended is no longer than 7 hours?
I think the longest I've had it at room temp is 4. -
@chopsuey119: I put it in bags at 4 and just now found it at 8....so I'm not toooo horrified!

8 hours? But then I throw it out (no fridge)---I mostly use left out milk and not refrigerated or frozen. Usually it's 4 hours-ish till he drinks it.

I've pushed that 10 hour mark. I pumped at work and immediately put it in the fridge at work. But then I brought it home and left it in my soft cooler overnight (no ice just the cold milk). By morning it wasn't cold at all but I still gave it to her. She was older and healthy at the point.

8-10 hours. I usually pull a bottle out for LO's next feeding when she's eating. The first few times she did 8-9 hours, the bottles were out all night. If it passes the smell test, I figure we're good to go.
