LO rarely finishes her whole bowl of food, which is only a frozen ice cube's size. The only thing she ever finishes is apples. She loves them!

Bananas ... although he seems to like most everything so far! But he practically attacks the spoon with bananas.

Bartlett pears and butternut squash! LOVES!
LO will eat everything I give her, though, but she's ferocious when it comes to pears and bns.

@Mrs. Yoyo: We haven't tried banana's yet, I'll have to do that. I don't know anybody who doesn't like bananas!
@Rubies: I haven't tried those either! Maybe I'm just giving her the wrong foods.

@Rubies: Brown rice cereal, apples, peas, carrots, and sweet potatoes. I have a huge stash of those things in my freezer so I felt like I should feed it to her before making more, but I want to give her more variety so soon I'll give in and make some more food.

@artbee: Oh! We did sweet potato, and LO likes it a lot. We did peas, too, but she gagged because of the texture. I didn't strain them, just pureed, and they were too chunky. Apples are next on the fruit list, and I think I might try green beans next for veg.

@Rubies: Are you going to try straining the peas or are you just giving up? So far I've strained all her food so it's all the same texture... gross baby food texture.

@artbee: Well, I have seven cubes of it in the freezer that I was just going to keep there until she was ready to eat them. Can I defrost them all, strain them, and refreeze? If so, I'll totally do that.

@Rubies: I don't know. I know you can't do that with meat, but I don't know about veggies. Couldn't hurt to save them though -especially since she's a good eater she'll be a pro soon!

DS loves peas!! He's been a great little eater with just about everything so far, but peas are definitely his favorite!
He really likes bananas too. I went a little overboard with those though. I didn't think about it and he ate them every morning for breakfast for a week or so. Then he got SO constipated! I felt horrible! So, heads up on that!!

It would be shorter to list out what my son doesn't like, which is carrots. The kid eats everything.

@artbee: my LO doesn't like bananas! her favorite puree was sweet potatoes. i don't think she really got into food until it was chunkier and tastier with added meat and rice/pasta. then she ate a ton.
