When M woke us up this morning, she was sitting up in her crib! So, my question is, when do we worry about dropping it? She's not yet strong enough to pull herself up on things but she's getting there. Is it time or can we wait a few more weeks?

We waited until LO pulled herself up. She wears a sleep sack so we never got too worried, it's hard to do anything with that thing on.

I would probably drop it down now, only because I am paranoid about that kind of thing. In reality though, she is probably ok until she can pull herself up.

A couple of weeks ago when she sat up after she woke up. The day after we dropped it she was standing up on the side the next morning, so I'm glad we did.

We did two drops, the first time when we started sleep training and we new rolling and sitting was possible so around 6 months. Then we dropped it all the way down when pulling up and crawling began so around 10 months.

We dropped it when she started pulling up. We're about to drop it again because she likes to jump in bed.

I think we dropped ours when he could get into sitting on his own. We dropped it right from the highest setting to the lowest setting.

He can't get into sitting position from laying, so we haven't dropped it yet. However, when he is sitting he CAN pull up to standing, so maybe we should....

When LO sat up in her crib at 8.5 months, we dropped the crib. While she never tried to pull herself up from the crib, i just did not want to risk it. She was already attempting to pull herself up around that time.

I'd drop it now just in case she learns to pull herself up overnight.

We dropped it this past weekend. She's 8.5 months old. Not pulling herself up on furniture yet, but she will grab your fingers and pull up to standing. I figured it was just easier for us to be proactive instead of waiting for her to start standing in her crib. And I dropped it to the lowest setting (of 3) because I didn't want to be bothered by dropping it again in a few months. I'm lazy

I'd drop it now too. That way when she does figure out how to pull up, which sounds like is soon, you won't have to scramble to get it done because you're worried about something happening to her.
