I gave my LO a bottle at the hospital. She was jaundiced and I needed to supplement with formula. I gave her a bottle + breastfed for the first 2 months of her life until she started rejecting the bottle at around 2.5 months. Since then I've exclusively breastfed. LO is turning 1 in 6 days!

I gave mine a bottle when she was 5 days old. She is breastfed but I pump so that my husband can have some bonding tone with her, and so I can take a break. The lactation consultant said that a bottle should be introduced around the 3 week mark. She also said that it's not so much nipple confusion, but nipple preference, since the bottle is easier to get milk from. Just make sure to use a slow flow nipple and there shouldn't be a problem.

lo is only 13 days, so I don't have any long term experience, but we gave her formula from days 3-6, when my milk finally came in. it was really delayed to a rough labour. she's been ebf since then, even though I have tried to give her a bottle with some breast milk in it. she was not interested.
