L will be 8 months old in a few days and I was considering trying out hard boiled egg yolk with her. When did you give your LO egg yolk? How did you prepare it?

WIC told me 7 months last week, but that I could start now (at 6 months) if I want.

DS got the all clear from our pediatrician to have eggs at 10 months. We're vegetarians and eggs are such a good source of fat and protein for little fellas, I was happy to get the okay. I usually scramble an egg for him.

We started scrambled eggs around 6 months. Pediatrician suggested them at our 9 month appointment, but we were already feeding them. We did run into issues with not mushing them up enough and he would spit it out due to texture, but has since gotten over that.

7 months? We usually just scramble them into big chunks and she devours them!

We started at about 6.5 months. He loves a cheese omelette cut into strips!

I've tried various hard boiled soft scrambled voodoo covered egg combinations, and my daughter only likes it about 30% of the time. We did yolks from the start, maybe 7 months. I sure hope she likes them eventually, they're such good protein.
