Today, I had my daughter in my lap while I was putting on her bib (she frequently spits up) & as I was doing so she looked at me, grabbed the edge on my cardigan, buried her face in my cleavage & started going to town! lol it was cracking me up! & she just kinda looked at me like "What? You seemed busy so I thought I'd get started by myself!" lol she will be 5 months on the 12th.
Anyone else's LO "self serve"?

Well we co-bedded, so the tap was pretty much always open whenever he wanted it.
When he was 10-11 months he started walking up and forcibly yanking my top down, constantly. It really got on my nerves! Especially because he'd just take a sip or two and run off (drive-by nursing!)

My baby is 8 months, and can definitely bat and tug on my shirt, but he can't self serve unless we're lying down!

So far she has only done it when we are lying down in bed-- like when I'm about to feed her or we are in between sides, she will start pulling at the top of my tank top. Usually as I lay her on the nursing pillow but in the 12 seconds it takes to undo the nursing tank snap, she starts crying like I'm forcibly starving her!

Jack does this! We have a video from like 11 weeks where he's Jist bouncing his head off my clothed boob it's pretty hilarious. See also the reason my child is 18 lbs at almost 5 months ;). If you cradle hold him he wants to eat! He's started doing it to other women now too LOL

I'd say DD started at around 8-9 months. She hasn't ever tried in public though, luckily.

only around 11 months or so did she start to grab at my shirt. if we're taking a bath together, she might try to self serve then, but i don't let her!
