Do you lower it when your baby starts sitting up?
Babies are rolling over and are not sitting up yet. So I think I have some time.

Not that DD slept in her crib, BUT we did lower it one notch when she could sit up, and then another notch when she could stand, and then to the last notch by 10 months.

We lowered it one notch when he started pulling himself up to kneeling. Now that he is pulling up to standing it will be going down to third notch. Although I do not think he would be able to stand in his sleep sack.

We lowered it as soon as he started sitting up. It wasn't long after he started pulling up on everything.
We also lowered it all the way because it was a pain, I didn't want to have to do it multiple times!

Ours was already lowered all the way from when LO1 was in it and I was too lazy to raise it so it's been on lowest setting since we put him in it

We just did it the other day and DS is 9 months. He has been barely showing signs until that day that he was even interested in pulling himself up. He still hasn't.

We lowered it once she started standing up in the crib. I didn't want to risk anything.

@bluestriped bee: I THINK the first time was when she first started pulling herself to standing.

@Mrs.KMM: she looks very pleased with herself!
I think we did it when she was sitting up and starting to reach up for things.

Once when he could sit up on his own (maybe 6/7 months) and once when he could pull/stand up (I honestly don't remember...10 months?). But its a pain - so for any future LO's, once they are sitting we'll just lower it the whole way down.

One day he pulled himself up to stand in the crib. My husband took video then immediately lowered the crib.

We put the crib on the lowest setting at 8 months when he started to pull up on the furniture (he'd never tried it in bed). We didn't want to have to adjust the crib again cuz its a pain.
