When did you start cows milk or a variation?

11 months is when we started mixing it with her formula. She was on all whole milk by 12 months.

We started only milk at 12 months. We went cold turkey.

We started attempting to give milk at month 12 but there was so much going on in our life and he wasn't keen on the taste, so we waited another month or so before reintroducing it. At 15 months, it's all he takes and has been taking for over a month and a half now.

we are almost there -- planning to begin at 12 months!
i think i'll try cold turkey and see how it goes. if he doesn't like it i'll mix it slowly into his formula. am also considering beginning on goats milk, as well. my MIL and FIL are hoping we will start with that!

We still have a pumped freezer stash of breastmilk from late last year, but I'm expecting that to run out by 18 months. As we start to get low in the stash, I'll start mixing in cow's milk.

We started way earlier, at around 7 or 8 months. Here in Germany, that's what they recommend. It worked out well; our son is a healthy boy and a healthy eater and shows no signs of any allergies (at 2 1/2 years).
