At what age did you start doing a dreamfeed? LO is 2 weeks old and the past few days has been getting a bottle around 7:30pm, going to sleep around 9 and then waking up around 1 and 4 to eat. Wondering if a dreamfeed would help at this age?

For the first month we woke to feed on a schedule. I think every 3 hours for the first two weeks and then every 4 hours for the next two weeks. Around a month we stopped waking to feed and she would eat around 9, fall asleep, then wake around 1 or 2 an again around 6 or so to eat. We never really did "dream feeds" until we started having trouble getting enough food in her during the day and were trying to sneak in an extra feeding per day.

Around 2.5 months. Though honestly, had I known about the concept earlier I may have tried a bit earlier.
ETA: your LO seems to be doing great at such a young age, though. I think my LO was still up every 2 hours around then.

We started at around 4 weeks and it was awesome! But now at almost 6 months we're thinking he should be okay without it, but too scared to take it away...

I agree with @meredithNYC: my LO is 3.5 mo and I'd be thrilled if she only had 2 wake ups ! At 2 weeks I think we barely had her sleeping out of our arms at night. You're doing great!

@meredithNYC: @MenagerieMama: Haha ok I guess that makes me feel better! I am just used to my toddler who goes to bed without a fight at 7pm and STTN, I forgot how crazy making waking up with a baby is!
Tonight he ate a little early so I think I'm going to just try to give him a mini bottle around 9 and see if that changes anything.
Thanks!

@HappyBaker: good luck! We are expecting our second in April and like you, I'm used to long toddler stretches of sleep. I already dread the newborn wake-ups that await me!
