I've been having noticeable and semi painful contractions for the past week.
I'm currently 31weeks 3 days.
I had a NST yesterday and contracted every 5 min or so the whole hour and a half I was hooked up. The OB said it was probably my positioning and to drink and eat a little more.
They did subside after I left but I still had at least 5 the rest of the day.
Now, sitting at working I just had another one.
They don't seem concerned but I didn't have contractions this early with my other two pregnancies and just kinda wonder how normal it is to really be feeling them this soon.

I mean the ones I have don't always hurt but it's enough that I stop and can def feel them. My DH had his hand on my stomach at the time of a contraction and he was so surprised that my stomach got so hard and everything so I know I'm not imagining things. lol

I started feeling BHs around 20 weeks. I *think* I hadn't first real contraction the other day at 38 weeks.

I'm having some already - really painful, but not regular enough to be the real deal. OB confirmed BH & said some women find them more uncomfortable than others. (Boo!) I'm 32+3.

Haven't had any yet at 36 weeks. Not sure if that's good or bad.

I had BH from about 20 weeks on. At about 33 weeks they became pretty regular, and at 37ish weeks I was having them all the time. I thought this meant I would go early, but nope!

I only got BH at 39w5d. They never stopped and eventually turned into real contactions, and DD was born 2 days later on her due date.

I'm 32 weeks tomorrow and I've been contracting so bad that yesterday during my NST they pulled me off the monitor to do a cervical check and pre term labor tests.
Luckily it was negative that I'd be going into labor in the next two weeks and my cervix was closed but these contractions are painful and are all the time. -
My due date was yesterday and I don't think I've had any, BH included. Waaaaah! (can I have yours?) Sorry you're uncomfortable, that's no fun!

I started having BH before 20 weeks with my last pregnancy, the painful non-stop contractions started at around 22-23 weeks and turned out to be preterm labor. By 29 weeks I was on bedrest until 37 weeks. I went one day past my due date.
This time BH started early, before 12 weeks. My dr said that is "normal" for me.

@tororojo: Oh you can have them!! lol I get them now every single day without fail.
@StbHisMrs: Goodness as early as 12 weeks?? That's no fun at all. I'd be a nervous wreck. -
I started having them around 17 weeks. They really used to freak me out. By 30 weeks I was having them several times an hour all day. Now at 39 weeks, I have them all the time and they are downright painful, but still, no baby. Sigh. I did go into L &D once at 35 weeks because they were 3 minutes apart for 3 hours but I wasn't dilating so they meant nothing. Can't wait to be done with these constant contractions!

@travellingbee: I have them daily now without fail and I'm 32 weeks 2 days. I didn't experience this with my other two pregnancies either. I was checked at my last appt and I wasn't dilated thankfully.

@pumpkinspice I had them every day, pretty regularly from 30-ish weeks on. They were totally BH contractions and I do think that it might have been water related. I had them up until DS was born, three weeks early... So, good luck!

I've been having BH for weeks...I can't exactly say when they started...sometime early in the 3rd trimester. I'm ready for the real ones to get this over with!
