My son is 9 months and we send a mix of puree and finger foods to daycare. I like to offer a little variety of finger foods so I'm wondering if it's time to stop packing 3 separate food containers of finger foods and switch to bentos.

Charlie 18 months. Olive started daycare at 16 months but I've been packing some bentos for her since 9 months. By 12 months it was a daily thing.

Around 10.5 months! The daycare teachers told me she was bored with purees!

@littlek: LOL! For the past 3 or so weeks, I've been sending more than puffs (which I've been sending since about 7 months). Banana chunks, avacado chunks, chicken bites (he loved the chicken we had in tacos), spaghetti (you'd think he would choke but doesnt), noodles/veggies from soup, rice (not a hit), toast strips, waffle strips, french toast strips....that's all I can think of at the moment!
