My baby is 7 months old, and I still leak milk in the middle of the night. Often, when I nurse in the MOTN or at the first morning feed, the other side will leak like crazy, soaking through a breastpad and bra. During the day things are typically fine, but I've had a few leaks on an odd day. This doesn't seem normal to me- should my supply be regulated?
When did you stop leaking?!

With my first after about 3 months. With my second I'm still leaking regularly at 9 months.

I exclusively nurse, and LO is 4.5 months old and I'm pretty much done leaking now. Except if she sleeps through the night, and I'm nursing, then my other side will leak a bit. But I really never wear breast pads anymore.

I still leak at 6.5 mos, and will spray baby in the face if he pulls off suddenly, which is a regular occurrence. He's just so easily distracted nowadays.

I weaned my son at 10.5 months old and still leaked with the first feed of the day (after he started sleeping through the night). I wore breastpads constantly because I was too scared not too, so I was still having random leaks at strange times (I'm a teacher, and sometimes if I was counselling a student in distress or having an emotional moment with a friend I would get a letdown).

Definitely recommend the reusable nursing pads to those who are going through boxes of disposables. I got bold and thought I could start sleeping without them around 5 months, but now LO is 6.5 months and I've woken up in puddles enough times that I'm accepting I have to sleep with a bra/nursing pads for a long while now.
