After giving birth, how long did you still take your prenatals for? Were you really good about it, or did you fall off the wagon and either stop taking them or stop taking them so regularly?
I'll admit, I'm really bad about remembering and only take mine sometimes. I still try to since I'm still BFing, but still, oops on my part because I often forget.

I just switched back to regular gummy adult vitamins so I only had to buy one kind for DH & I.

Even though I'm not breastfeeding, I'm still taking them because prior to pregnancy I was taking a multi-vitamin and so I'm just in the habit of taking a vitamin every day. Once I use up my stash of prenatals, I'll go back to a multi-vitamin. I take mine just before bedtime at the same time I take my birth control and allergy medication so I'll remember.

I'll continue to take good quality liquid vitamins after birth, since I'm planning to BF, but I'll switch to the ones that are slightly cheaper. And grosser, unfortunately, but DH is already frustrated with how much I spend on supplements. But I'm a terrible, terrible eater, and rely on very good vitamins to help.

I haven't stopped taking them since I was trying to get pregnant with ds1 (though I switch to a postnatal vitamin while I'm bf'ing) and likely will continue to take them at least through breastfeeding the twins.
@Torchwood: I hear you on taking vitamins due to bad eating. I think mine help a lot in that area.

I'm 5 mo pp and still taking them since I'm breastfeeding. I'll probably take them forever lol, since eventually we'll start TTC for #2.

My plan was to take them until I weaned, but then we TTC #2 before I weaned, and I got pregnant, so I never stopped. The plan now is to take them until I wean #2.

My doctor put me on prenatals when I got married at 24. She said she recommends all women of childbearing age take prenatals. So, I'll still take them even after lo makes her appearance!

I hadn't stopped from LO #1. We were planning to have 2 close together, but it didn't quite work out that way. I just kept on keeping on.
