and go to a booster

We've always used the FP booster, so i don't know if it's the same thing? We just bring it against the table and she has been going without a tray since 12 months old.

15 months we took the base off an set it on a chair and at 16 months she refused that and we had to use a booster (like she did at daycare.) Now at 18 months, she pretty much is sitting on her knees in "daddy's" chair and throws a fit if we try to get her to sit in her booster.

We used the Fisher Price booster/highchair (the one that straps to a chair and has a removable tray) until he was about 18mos, but mostly just pushed it up to the table. After that it went in the closet and we taught him to sit at the table in a regular chair. He can (and does) move around a lot, but he stays in the chair for the meal. It helps that our chairs are really sturdy and have arms.

Just stopped using Fisher Price booster/highchair and got a smaller booster that goes up to the table at 19 months. But she does prefer to be in her father's lap, eating his food, lol.

We still use a high chair at 16 months but I've been looking at boosters. We will probably switch in a month or two

She sits at the dinner table but for breakfast and snacks where she is eating alone she still sits in her high chair. She's two and a half.

18 months! She had a high chair regression when baby sister started solids (my chair!) but she is back in her booster.

We are still using our highchair at 19 months with no problems. I'm planning to make the switch closer to 2.

Not sure if this is answering your question but we have a Stokke Tripp Trapp and we took off the infant seat just after he turned 2...so now he's basically sitting in a regular chair with a footplate.
