4 months on occasion but it was 6 months after sleep training that it was a regular occurrence.

Well after we sleep trained at 6 months (just to get him to fall asleep on his own, not STTN), he started STTN a week or two later. He did that until we moved, then his sleep was messed up for a month and he didn't STTN again until he was nearly a year old.

My son is 3, he pretty much began sleeping consistently through the night at around 2 years old.

She sttn from about 3 months to 5 months and then it all went to crap. She started again around 9 months!

At 4 weeks she was sleeping 8 hr stretches, at 8 weeks 10 hours. Now at 5 months she generally does 12 hours but once in a while will have a MOTN wakeup

I considered STTN 6 hour stretches, and she started that around 8-10 weeks.
Then she turned 4 months old and it was GAME OVER.

At 11 weeks, he started sleeping 10:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m., which I considered STTN.
Then at 8 months, we weaned of the 9:00 p.m. feeding and he started sleeping 7:30 p.m. - 5:30 a.m.
At 11.5 months, he'll often go 7:30 - 6:30, but sometimes still wakes up earlier to eat and then will sleep for another hour.

We were doing 10 hour stretches from 1-4 months. Since then she has been waking up twice a night. She is 6m.

13.5 months!!! Oh happy day. And then he stopped when he got sick. But then started again.

At 6 weeks she was sleeping 8-9 hour stretches. She's now almost 8 months and sleeps 11-12 hours a night. We are very lucky parents!

When I say STTN, I mean no wake ups between bedtime and at least 6:30 am... At 6.5 mo we sleep trained and see got there within 3 nights. Travel, teething, and a cold got in the way of STTN, so we retrained at 9.5 mo. After that, DD STTN every night until we mostly weaned, when she started waking up hungry between 5:30-6:30 and then would go back down until 7:00/7:30. We started giving her more food and milk in the evening and she dropped that wake up on her own.

Still inconsistent at almost 12 months. Usually only one very quick wakeup if anything....but the last 3 nights it is been up ready to play at 4am and that does not work for me. Sigh.

I consider STTN from 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. LO started STTN at 4 months. STTN coincided with starting daycare, that place WEARS him out. It's worth every penny!

By the clinical definition, 2 weeks. She started 6-7 hour stretches by then. For real, 6 months. We sleep trained, and she slept 6:30-8:30 for a loooong time. Still pretty much does at nearly 2.

DS just started sleeping through the night this week, just shy of 14 months. He sleeps from 7-7 however he will wake up and cry for a couple minutes several times a night, but usually settles himself down. If not, we will go in with some water and he is back asleep after a few sips. Close enough to STTN for me!

At 5 weeks she was sleeping 8hrs from 8pm-4am, but I didn't consider this STTN until at 8 weeks she was sleeping 10-12hrs from 7/8pm-6/7am. From 3-5 months she has slept 12hrs from roughly 7-7.

Not until we did a little sleep training at 8.5 months. Before that, he woke up every hour.

8 or 10 weeks and other than a few wonder weeks, She's still STTN at a year old. These threads scare me because I see the odds are I won't be so lucky next time!

She STTN in eight hour stretches from about 6 weeks onward, then 12 hours straight from 3-4 months. Then the four month regression hit and lasted until 8.5 months when we started her on three meals of solids/day (like, that same night she started STTN). Then a weeklong regression/illness/learned to crawl, then back to STTN (11-12 hrs) consistently.

At two weeks she'd do six hour stretches. By 11.5 she was sleeping 12/13 straight. She picked up a 4:00 feed around 6 months when she started pulling to stand/crawling and then dropped it a few weeks later.

@JerricaBenton: I know what you mean Though my parents had two great sleepers, so that gives me hope!

@illumina: I love to hear stories about people with two good sleepers! Lol!

Not until just over a year old, but more like 8-10 hours, he almost never does 12 hour stretches.

Miss A started sleeping 9+ hours at around fourteen months but seems to max out at ten hours before waking.

Oh gosh, I'm scared to jinx it, but he's been STTN every night for the past week. He's 3 months.

7 weeks some of the time. I am hoping for all of the time at 6 months, it has been a week straight, since we moved LO out of the bedroom. I think he would have every night starting at 4 months if we moved him out of the bedroom then.
