Sometimes my LO still seems hungry even after nursing for 40 min so I top her off with some expressed milk. She is only 3 weeks so she's not efficient yet I guess. Was your LO like this? When did they become satisfied for longer stretches just by nursing?

LO became more efficient just before 3 months I think it was.

I don't remember exactly when, but even in the early days she only nursed 10-15 min per side, and usually only one side per feed. I have serious "scars" to show for that though. Lol.

Around 5 weeks I think...he went from nursing 20/25min a side to nursing 8-10 on the first side and 2-4 min the 2nd side.
