We have been playing with a sippy cup since LO started solids at 6 months. She loves to drink out of it, but I always have to help her out. When was your LO about to drink out of a sippy cup by herself?

We skipped the sippy and went straight to water bottles/cups and straws! SHe's 10.5 months old.

We played around with the sippy cup when LO was 5 months but she didn't quite get how to use it so we tossed it for now. Maybe on Monday we'll try again...I'll let you know!

We introduced the sippy at 6 months along the same time he started solids. (He is now 10 months). He never quite got the hang of it and I still have to hold it up for him to drink. (He can drink but likes to use the handles as a teether instead). My ped said to try cups with straws and see if that helps him out more. She said some babies don't understand to tilt the sippy and strawed cups may be easier.
