I just gave DS cucumbers and hummus. He ate the glob of hummus first and now is eating the cucumbers. I tried showing him but he didn't care 
When did your LO learn how to dip their food?

Around a year. DH always dips toast in milk and DS started copying him. He's not really into dipping veggies into things like hummus though. He would rather just eat the hummus with a spoon.
