My LO is only 3 months old and she loves to snuggle with a receiving blanket, I get really nervous though because of all the horror stories I read about babies suffocating. When did you let your LO sleep with a blanket?

LO sleeps with an AA blanket at daycare....since she was around 5 months? She is supervised and the blanket is thin so I don't worry since she is mobile.

Hmm, I'm not much help. LO never took to a blanket until we started getting rid of the pacifier at 13mo, so we never used one after we stopped swaddling.

We've always had a blanket in her crib. She started sleeping on her stomach around 5 months and snuggling with it around 6 months. Now, at 10 months, she won't go down without holding onto it.

He sleeps with a lovey that he rubs on his face and sometimes falls asleep with it covering his face. If we were to use a blanket I'd give him a muslin one (e.g. A+A blanket).

Mine had blankets starting at 8 months when she moved to her floorbed. It was still summer then, so she didn't use them. In the past month or two (so after a year) she's started really using and staying under them.

LO is 16 months old and still doesn't use a blanket. She's been sleep-sacking it since 3 months.

5 months. Thin blanket. She loves to cuddle it and suck it.

DS got a knitted blanket to replace his swaddle at 4 months. I used to tuck him in with it, but now (at 8.5 months) I just put it over top of him at bedtime.

I let our 7 month old nap with a blanket because I'm awake and checking the monitor frequently. We don't at night and just use a sleep sack instead.

DS is 15 months old and still doesn't use a blanket. I'm super paranoid about it! DH wants to give him blanket so bad. He uses a sleep sack instead.

She started sleeping with an A+A blanket at around 6 months old.

Not until shortly after Charlie turned 2 and asked for a blanket. He was in a sleep sack until then. Olive is 14 months and I don't think she'll be using a blanket until she's at least 2 either.
